1. Who we are

Skilvolve (skilvolve.in) is a learning platform that helps students improve English, communication and soft skills. In this policy, we and us mean Skilvolve.

2. What we collect

Account details: your email address and a password, which are handled by our authentication provider. You may also give us a name.

What you submit: the text you write or speak in the AI Lab and the messages you send to the Coach. If you are logged in, we save your feedback history and Coach chats so you can see them again. If you are not logged in, they are not saved to an account.

Usage and device data: a device cookie that helps us apply daily free limits, simple usage counts, and standard technical logs (such as IP address) kept by our hosting providers.

On your device: your settings, learning progress and quiz progress are stored in your own browser.

3. How we use your information

We use it to give you feedback and answers, keep your history, apply fair-use limits, protect the service from abuse and improve Skilvolve.

4. AI and other services we use

To create feedback, lessons and quizzes, the text you submit is sent to AI model providers that we use, such as Groq, Mistral and Cerebras. We do not sell your personal information.

We also use Supabase for the database and login, and Vercel for hosting.

Voice input uses your browser's speech recognition, and your browser vendor may process the audio. We only receive the text, and we do not receive or store your audio.

5. Cookies and local storage

We use a device cookie for daily limits and your browser's local storage for settings, language choice and progress. Our login system also keeps a session in your browser so you stay logged in.

6. Shared links

Quiz and topic links you share contain only AI-generated learning content, not your personal information. Quiz links stop working after 10 minutes.

7. Your choices

If you are logged in, you can download your data and delete your saved Coach chats from the Profile page.

To delete your account and the data linked to it, email us at contact@skilvolve.in.

8. Children

Skilvolve is made for students. If you are under 18, please use it with the knowledge of a parent, guardian or teacher.

9. Security

We take reasonable steps to protect your information, but no online service can be completely secure.

10. Changes to this policy
